Tear trough filler is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses dermal filler to minimise the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and even improves the look of sunken eyes.
While these can all be brought on naturally as we age. As collagen production slows down, the skin becomes thinner and can lose laxity. When this happens, along with a lack of sleep, work-related stress and a busy lifestyle, tear troughs can appear more prominent.
Hyaluronic dermal filler can plump and smooth the area around the eyes and orbital bone, reducing the appearance of tear troughs and minimising shadows under the eyes. This helps to bring hydration to the area, brightening and boosting the appearance making the eye look fresher, less tired and more youthful.

Fillers, when used by trained professionals in a clean and safe environment, pose little risk to the client. There may be some side effects such as bruising, swelling or itching. The procedure itself is relatively pain-free. We use a small amount of local anaesthetic cream or injection to help numb the area beforehand so that any discomfort is minimal.

You may have some mild swelling however it will not be as much as what you would get with filler in other areas of the face such as lips and most clients return to their normal, daily activities right after their visit. There is always the risk of some slight swelling or bruising with dermal fillers, but these post treatment effects if experienced, will only last for a few days and a maximum of 2 weeks.

Typically 9-12 months. Most clients have their tear trough treatment once per year.

Yes, we use only dissolvable fillers which means in the unlikely event that you do not like the result or something was to go wrong, we would be able to inject a solution (providing you were not allergic to that solution) to completely remove the tear tough filler and return you to your baseline.
