B.B Glow Facial

  • After your consultation, the therapist will use a custom cleanser based on your skin type to deep cleanse your skin to remove oil and debris. You will then be given a dermaplane treatment to remove excess skin, peach fuzz and alike.

    After Dermaplane, the therapist will apply a whitening serum to neutralise your skin and reestablish your skin’s optimal pH, reduce redness, and hydrate your skin. They will also apply a custom booster serum based on your skin requirements and use the microneedling pen to increase the effects of the treatment.

    They will choose a BB glow serum, based on your desired shade and infuse it into your skin using the microneedling pen. They will do this twice, then apply a bio silk mask over the BB glow serum to prevent your skin from drying out as well as to hydrate and soothe your skin.
    The BB glow shades available include Light (lightest shades for normal skin complexions), Light Rose (light pink shades for bright skin complexions), Medium (medium shades for medium skin complexions), Deep (dark shades for brownskin or bronze skin complexions), and Deep Plus(deep skin complexions).

    An LED mask will then be applied to assist in the absorption of products, and achieving better results. Finally a peptide repair cream will be massaged into the face to restore and soothe your treated skin.

  • BB glow takes about 1 hour, including skin preparation time. You will see instant results after the first session.
    This is a great stand-alone treatment especially for a one-off event or a weekend away however for long term results lasting up to 4 months we recommend building up coverage over a course of 3 treatments each 7-10 days apart.

  • After the treatment:
    you will be unable to wash the face for 24 hours.

    Aftercare tips include:

    ● Avoid wearing makeup for 3 days

    ● Avoid sunbathing, including sunbeds

    ● Avoid using any scented skincare products

    ● Avoid saunas, hot tubs, hot showers and baths, and hairdryers for 48 hours (shower and bathe with room temperature water and use a hairdryer on medium to low setting)

    ● Avoid swimming for 7 days

    ● Avoid washing your face for 24 hours

    ● Avoid eating spicy food and seafood for 3 days

    ● Avoid using retinol products and vitamin C for 8 weeks

    ● Wear a moisturising cream with an SPF 30 or higher
